How Was Empowered Parenting Conceived?
Having worked in PRAYATNA as a special educator for over 12 years , suddenly everything came crashing down when my Director suddenly announced that she would close PRAYATNA for good as she was not sure that online academic remedial classes would be effective. This was in the midst of the lockdown during covid.
I was completely lost as to what I would do next as all schools were closed and weren't hiring immediately. I also got mails from parents frantically asking me who will help their kid as the centre was closed. The condition of the children flashed in my mind. That's when the idea came in my mind as to empowering parents and teaching them exactly all the strategies I use when working with kids. I believed this could motivate help their own kids to be interested readers and fluent readers.
I am now on a mission to empower a 100,000 parents inspire their kids to become curious readers.
